In this update of Atari's original Sprint series, up to two players control racing cars in a top down view using steering wheels and gas pedals.

This game had some really neat gameplay innovations, such as a store where powerups could be purchased between races using wrenches picked up on the track during the race.

Criss-crossing traffic could often screw up the novice player.
