Released in 1982 by Nintendo, Donkey Kong Junior’s popularity grew to the point of matching it’s predecessor. In the sequel, Mario (known as Jumpman in the Donkey Kong games) is now the villain and has captured Donkey Kong.
Donkey Kong Jr. must get the key from Mario to save his papa! He traverses the four levels of this platform game: the Vines, the Chains, the Jumpboard, and the Hideout to ultimately save his father. He must also avoid the obstacles Mario throws at him like Snapjaws, Nitpickers, and Sparks, which will kill him. DK Jr. will also lose a life if he falls to far, falls off the bottom of the screen, or if the timer counts down to zero. You can own your very own Donkey Kong Junior original game. This classic arcade game is sold in the original cabinet with side art.

The player controls a small monkey who must leap from platforms, climb vines, and avoid enemies to rescue Donkey Kong from Mario. The game has several distinct levels with similar goals. Fruit can be dropped on enemies leg traps and birds to kill them.

Game Introduction
The game’s basic concept is the same as Donkey Kong except the good guys and bad guys have changed places. The player controls Donkey Kong Junior, a small ape who must rescue his father, Donkey Kong, from his nemesis Mario.
