Description

Super Zaxxon is a space themed video game. The orientation on the monitor for the game is vertical with a standard resolution.  You pilot an attack shuttle whose mission is to strafe the enemy’s “Asteroid City”. Destroy fuel tanks, gun implacements, missiles, fighters and a large dragon. The game uses the same isometric perspective as the original, but the new version’s overall speed is much faster. The outer space battle has been replaced with a dive through a tunnel to get to area 2. In certain areas the numbers of fighters has increased from the Zaxxon original game.

Super Zaxxon was produced by Sega in 1982.

Game Play

Players move from one asteroid city to another, sometimes moving through tunnels to reach and destroy the dragon. This game has 2 player capabilities.
